HOlst centre:

conductive screen printing

Summer 2019

I worked as assistant to fashion designer Pauline van Dongen at the Holst Centre, a research centre that has developed a screen-printing process for lightweight, stretchable electronics. I designed the interactive pouch, pictured, to demonstrate this technology.

NFC antennae were designed and screen printed by engineers at the Holst Centre. They were then heat bonded to our laser cut fabrics during a live demonstration at Munich Fabric Start. The NFC then directed vistiors to Pauline’s website to learn more - a novel alternative to business cards!
